Hey Friends! Happy 1st day of August! I can’t believe it is already August and can you get over how hot it is outside? We were just saying yesterday how it is almost like a snow day since we have to keep our kids inside during the intense parts of the day. Some of the kids in our area go to a year round school and they started back today. It just seems so soon, their summer is already over!
This week I have been a little MIA because I am helping with our church’s annual clothing giveaway. Every year we take one Saturday and open our doors to the community and let them get some wonderful, donated clothes absolutely free! We start taking donations on Monday (from 8am until 8pm) and sort, hang, fold and organize until Friday. It is a lot of work but it is also a lot of fun. Most of our friends have been right there with me and we have just laughed and visited while we are working, it makes the time fly by. This is our shoe hall filled with tons of super cute shoes, some still have tags on them!

and then my area, the chapel that will have children’s clothing from newborn all the way up to juniors.
