We are fast approaching the end of June and it is so hot out there! I’ve heard that this coming weekend is going to be the hottest one of the year around here – yeesh! Who wants to just have fruit and pasta salad for dinner? My boys would never go for that, but I sure could. Here is our plan for the week, I’m making a lot of new recipes and (hopefully) will have some great new recipes to come soon!
Breakfast: Cereal, Eggs, Toast, Banana Waffles
Lunch: PBJ, Turkey/Cheese, Leftovers
Dinner:
Monday: Individual Pizzas on Naan Bread, Cantaloupe
Tuesday: Chili
Wednesday: Chicken Kabobs in Lettuce Cups with tzatziki, marinated zucchini salad
Thursday: Pork Tenderloin, Pesto Snap Peas, Baked Sweet Potatoes
Friday: Ginger Glazed Salmon, Couscous and Broccoli
Saturday: Shredded BBQ, Herbed Potato Salad, Slaw and Green Beans
Sunday: Cilantro Buttermilk Skirt Steak with Pico, Guac, side salad and Pinto Beans
Snacks: Yogurt, Fruit, Cheese and Smoothies
Desserts: Chocolate Chip Cookies, Strawberry Shortcakes, Homemade Ice Cream
